Positions are currently available for:

Baker

Fulltime Position (Fulltime preferred, but can be parttime if needed) – Must be able to work afternoon and evenings. Example schedule- 1:00 PM- 9:00PM Monday-Friday. Schedule and days off can be altered.

Bakers take pride in providing guests with delicious pastries, breads, baked goods, cakes, and more to all guests.

Baker responsibilities include:

  • Willingness to learn new bakery techniques
  • Mixing, portioning, baking, and assembling all doughs and batters for cookies, cakes,tarts, and quiches.
  • Rotate product in freezer/walk-in using FIFO method
  • Understand and ensure proper use of all equipment
  • Set oven temperatures and place items into hot ovens for baking.
  • Adjust temperature controls of ovens or other heating equipment.
  • Accurately scale and portion ingredients based on recipes and formulas. 
  • Combine properly measured ingredients into large mixing equipment.
  • Set time and speed so ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions.
    Operate cooking, baking, or other food preparation equipment.
  • Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in production oven. Operate cooking, baking, or other food preparation equipment.
  • Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or icings, using scales or graduated containers.
  • Measure ingredients or substances to be used in production processes.
  • Observe color of products being baked and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds accordingly.
  • Inspect food products.
  • Adjust temperature controls of ovens or other heating equipment.
  • Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary.
  • Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning.
  • Clean production equipment.
  • Maintain production or processing equipment.
  • Adapt the quantity of ingredients to match the amount of items to be baked.
  • Determine food production methods.
  • Apply egg wash, glazes, icings, or other toppings to baked goods, using spatulas or brushes.
  • Apply protective or decorative finishes to workpieces or products.
  • Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, Danish dough, tarts, cookies, or other products.

Qualifications for Baker:

  • At least 6 months of baking experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings and special events as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Servsafe certified is a plus
